Earlier this year (it’s weird that it’s late enough in the year that you can say that), Glasgow band Mogwai released a pretty cool album with a rather threatening name, Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will. I heard the album was pretty cool and I knew maybe 2 Mogwai songs that I liked before so I figured I’d give it a shot, and based on the name of the album and what I thought I remembered about the band, I expected the album to be pretty heavy.
